CONCEPT

Since Licensing is more about ideas rather than products, I opted to go far out of the box with this initial concept that uses a large illustration or photograph reflecting the colors of each show. Besides font usage, the primary element tying the look and feel together would have been the pill-shaped logo/date lock-up. Also shown is a summary of the creative brief.

FINAL PRESENTATION

The Licensing team decided to move forward with this concept designed by my supervisor at the time, Deb Cassa (www.dmcdesignstudio.com), that uses bold, dynamic lines on a bright color gradient that enables a flexible visual backdrop for content and images. Moving forward from this point, I created other assets based on this theme, distributed jobs amongst our design and production teams, and served as the point person for any questions related to the look and feel.

SALES BROCHURE
As with the previous design, a sales brochure was one of the first major projects created for the show. For Brand Licensing Europe, we needed to develop icon, chart, and illustration styles that would serve as a guide for other materials. The color palette was expanded with similar bold and bright colors that could be used for accents and to represent different areas on the show floor.

PRINT AD

A template for the print ad was also created early in marketing cycle and could be modified for different needs, calls-to-action, etc.
