MOODBOARD

After a few brainstorming sessions and presentations, we arrived at this look and feel which would be used to build sales and marketing assets. The paint splash design was simplified from this original piece as the campaign evolved, which made files easier to use for the design team. Colors were changed for sister shows in London (red), Shanghai (purple), Tokyo (green), and New York (orange).

SPONSORSHIP BROCHURE

One of the first projects created for the campaign, this multi-page PDF detailed various sponsorship opportunities for exhibitors and was formatted for both print and digital distribution. I was responsible for the entire design, production and delivery of this job.

PRINT AD

​

A sample of the general template used for the majority of print ads for the campaign. Paint splashes could be moved around based on the amount of copy and any other images or logos needed for a specific ad.

PRINT AD FOR FASHION INDUSTRY

​

This ad was used for fashion industry-specific trade publications. Using just a couple of simple masks and a bit of color correction, I was able to seamlessly blend the paint splashes into the model's flowing dress.

WEB ADS

​

The digital ad campaign look was altered slightly and uses a heavier color palette with copy reversed out of a blue gradient. Photography from the show floor becomes the main focus in order to stand out on busy web pages and social media platforms.

FLOOR PLAN

​

To help guide attendees, this floorplan and exhibitor list was created and placed as a folded insert inside the daily magazine, which visitors picked up at kiosks and information desks. The list was created using InDesign style sheets for easy editing, and the floor plan was stylized in Illustrator from a DWG file exported from CAD software.

ENTRANCE UNIT

This structure was the gateway to the expo show floor. Placing the paint splash images on a black background created a dramatic effect and helped to enhance the anticipation and excitement of attending the event.

GLOBAL LICENSING GROUP (GLG)

​

Encompassing five Licensing Expo shows, as well as the trade publication License Global and other media products, the Global Licensing Group was established and branded as the worldwide licensing industry’s leading trade show organizer and media partner. Needing to create a cohesive look and feel for all of these new assets, I used a collage of the paint splashes to add color to an otherwise stark and minimal palette. A stylized world map illustration with location markers was also used in some marketing collateral.

GLG PRINT AD

I also created icons for three different levels of participation in the GLG sponsorship program, which was used in this ad, as well as many digital and onsite promotional materials.
